Q: What is my firearm/item subject to when I send it in to be Cerakoted?
A: The process starts with complete disassembly. Once the firearm/item is disassembled completely, the firearm/item is placed in a degreasing tank. Then the parts original coating is removed and the part is heated for the adhesion process. Once it is at the desired temperature the Cerakote is applied. Firearms/items will then be baked.
